Overview

Sonde transmitter designed to be inserted into a camera pushrod or drain cleaning cable to allow above-ground locating of pipe position and depth using a compatible receiver. Used by septic inspectors and contractors to locate buried pipes, distribution boxes, and drainfield laterals without excavation. Particularly useful when as-built drawings are missing or inaccurate. The receiver is held over the ground surface and pinpoints the transmitter location below.
